One shared flow, adapted to how each operation really runs.

Restaurants and bars

Cover front of house, bar, kitchen, and host stand during rushes, call-outs, and special events.

Hotels and resorts

Organize properties, shifts, roles, and managers without mixing teams or permissions.

Events and catering

Build larger crews, repeat schedules, and track staffing by role.

Verifiable operations

Frequently asked questions

Who is Shift Central for?

For restaurants, hotels and event venues in the United States that need staff by shift, and for servers, bartenders, cooks, hosts and event staff who want to choose when and where they work.

How does an employer post a shift?

In the employer portal, choose the role, date, start and end time, location and hourly pay. The shift is published to workers in the app, and applications appear in the portal for you to approve.

How do workers get paid?

Workers check in and out of each shift with a QR code. The employer approves the timecard, and the approved hours become the basis for payment. Estimated earnings are shown before the shift is accepted.

How much does Shift Central cost?

Essentials costs US$ 1.49 and Plus costs US$ 2.99 per employee per month, billed through the App Store or Google Play. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and can be cancelled in the store account.

Can I try it without sending real data?

Yes. The employer and worker demos run with local data in your browser. Nothing is published to a real company and no account is needed.

Is there an Android app?

The worker app is available on the App Store for iPhone, and the Android version is distributed through Google Play. Employers use the web portal on any browser.
